Hot Spots Report for Pensacola Fishing Charters December 2015

Inshore – Pensacola Fishing Charters
It’s been another great week of fishing for bull redfish in Pensacola Bay. Even with the pile of boats on the water last weekend just about everyone was able to get in on the action.
The white trout fishing around the Pensacola Bay Bridge has been spectacular. Fish are being caught night or day using both cut bait and artificial lures. The best approach is to use your bottom machine and go along until you mark structure or fish.
Flounder gigging has been slow this week, but more than likely there will be a good push a fish come through during the next couple of cold fronts.

Offshore – Pensacola Deep Sea Fishing
With gag grouper, amberjack, triggerfish, and red snapper all closed now anglers heading offshore looking for bottom dwellers to bring home for dinner are pretty limited. Your best bet is to look for vermillion snapper and scamp.
Not very many boats have been heading out, but there’s been some good billfish and tuna reports so if you’re considering going don’t wait any longer.

Piers & Beaches – Pensacola Fishing
There is no better place than the Pensacola Bay Fishing Bridge for land locked anglers right now. White trout and redfish are being caught night and day. You just want to make sure the tide is moving when you head out there.
Redfish and a few flounder are being caught on the Pensacola Beach Gulf Fishing Pier. The bonita should show up as soon as the cold weather arrives as well.

Freshwater – Charter Fishing Pensacola
According to a report from Beck’s Lake Fish Camp, which is located up the Escambia River, the water level is back to normal and the bream bite has been pretty solid. You should also be able to find a decent bass bite on any of the nearby rivers with the current weather pattern.
