Captain Andy Arnold
I grew up in Louisiana where I spent most of my youth freshwater fishing with my hero, my grandfather. We bass fished in lakes and rivers throughout Northern Louisiana and Southern Arkansas. I graduated with a degree in Marketing and fell in love with saltwater fishing in Southern Louisiana. A friend invited me to go trout and red fishing in the South Louisiana marsh and I was hooked! I spent the next two years chasing trout and redfish all over Buras and Port Sulpher, LA. I’ve had a passion for salt water fishing ever since.
In 1994, I transferred to Pensacola where I fell in love with the Gulf of Mexico and Pensacola Bay. I spent every spare moment learning about fishing in this area. My fishing experience has grown over the past 20 years to include inshore fishing for trout, flounder, and red fish and off shore fishing for red snapper, grouper, trigger, amberjack, king mackerel, wahoo, mahi mahi and tuna.
I have formed many close relationships with other fishermen in the area to gain knowledge and experience. I care about our beautiful natural resources and I am on the Pensacola Hatchery Technical Committee.
Choose from the 2014 32’ Cape Horn boat for bottom fishing or a 23’ Cape Bay boat for inshore trips. Both “A Squared” boats offer Yamaha outboard motors and the top of the line electronics, including satellite radio, SAT phone, EPIRB and satellite weather radio. “A Squared” boats provide shade and comfortable seating, and are in immaculate condition.
I am thrilled to be a part of the Hot Spots team, and I look forward to being your charter fisherman for inshore/near shore or bottom fishing excursions.
