Church Group Fishing Trips

If you’re looking for something to do with your church’s youth group or a group of members a fishing trip to Pensacola or Pensacola Beach is an excellent option. During one week in June we take hundreds of kids fishing from one of the largest church’s in America and they have an absolute blast.

We have two different fishing trips that are available for large groups. The first is what we call our inshore / nearshore fishing charter and the second we simply classify as an offshore charter. Many of the same species are caught on both trips, but the big difference is the size of the boats used.

We have the experience that it takes to give your group an unforgettable day on the water and memorable trip to Pensacola or Pensacola Beach. We can simply just provide the fishing trip, or we can play a larger role and include drinks, snacks, and lunch for everyone.

Accommodations are another part of your trip that we can handle for you. We have relationships with the hotels and restaurants on Pensacola Beach and can custom build an itinerary that is the right fit for the group of people you will be bringing on your church group fishing trip.

The inshore / nearshore trips are a great option all together. On these trips we put 4 to 6 people on each boat and use as many boats as necessary to take everyone. These boats are twenty-two to twenty-four-foot bay boats and offer a quick ride to the fishing spot.

On the inshore / nearshore fishing charters you will fish in Pensacola Bay and/or the Gulf of Mexico. These trips are very dependent on weather conditions. If it’s calm and the wind isn’t blowing a lot of the time we go into the Gulf of Mexico, but if it’s rough we just stay in Pensacola Bay on these fishing trips.

If we’re able to get out into the Gulf of Mexico on your inshore / nearshore fishing charter you can expect to catch red snapper, triggerfish, mingo snapper, amberjack, bonita, cobia, king mackerel, sharks, and a variety of other species both bottom fishing and trolling.

If it’s too rough in the Gulf of Mexico or your captain feels like you’ll have a more productive fishing charter fishing inshore waters of Pensacola Bay, Santa Rosa Sound, or Big Lagoon you can expect to catch species like redfish, trout, flounder, sheepshead, and Spanish mackerel.

Offshore fishing charters are operated on thirty to sixty-five foot boats and can take as many as fifty people on one boat. These trips only go out into the Gulf of Mexico, so if you have some members who might be concerned with getting seasick the inshore / nearshore trips are probably a better option.
