A: All of Hot Spots Charters boat have licenses to cover everyone on board.
Q: When and where do we meet?
A: For fishing charters out of Pensacola and Pensacola Beach we will leave from Shaggy’s Bar & Grill unless otherwise discussed by your captain.
Q: What should I bring for my trip?
A: It’s a good idea to bring food, drinks, camera, sunglasses, sunscreen, and a hat.
Q: How early should I arrive for my trip?
A: Fifteen to twenty minutes before the scheduled time is perfect, by this time the crew will have the bait and ice loaded and be ready to load your stuff.
Q: Should I tip the captain or crew?
A: On inshore trips captains will greatly appreciate any tips and deckhands on offshore trips work primarily for tips. 15-20% is a customary tip for a captain or deckhand.
Q: What if the weather forecast looks bad?
A: The captain will keep in touch and communicate with everyone leading up to the trip; if it’s not going to be fun there will be no trip. Hot Spots Charters want to be remembered for the fish you catch and the enjoyable time you have on the trip, not a bad experience.
Q: Should I bring a cooler?
A: They will have coolers and ice on board, but it’s a good idea to have one in the car to take your fish home in. If you want to bring a small one on board that is no problem either.
Q: How many people can Pensacola Fishing Charters accommodate?
A: There is no group too large or too small for a Pensacola fishing charter, just give them a call and let them get you “hooked up” with a trip you’ll never forget.
Q: Can I bring my own rod and reel?
A: Of course, they no problem with anyone bringing their own equipment, but it is not necessary to have any fishing equipment or tackle, they have everything!
